Every stylist at Monarca runs her own business. You book directly with the stylist, not with the salon.
Each stylist sets her own services, pricing, and schedule. Start on our team page. Pick the stylist whose work feels right for you, then reach out to her directly on Instagram. She will handle your appointment and any questions from there.

Three options within a block of the salon.
Free. Corner of E. Chicago St. and N. Spring St. About half a block from the salon.
Corner of E. Highland Ave. and Douglas Ave. About one block from the salon.
Two-hour limit on weekdays before 5 PM. Free and unlimited after 5 PM and on weekends.
Monarca is in a historic building in downtown Elgin. Exposed brick, arched ceilings, warm light. The space was built to sit in, not rush through.
Come a few minutes early if you want to enjoy it before your appointment.
