Joanna built Monarca as a stylist herself. She meets one-on-one with each member about pricing, retention, and wherever you want to grow. She also runs in-house education on technical skills and the business side of running your chair.
Every stylist at Monarca runs her own business, so nobody here is competing with anyone else. The culture is Latina-led and open to any stylist who fits it.
Monarca is also becoming more than a salon. Yoga mornings, vendor markets, and cultural gatherings in the space are in the works.

Not only is it a beautiful salon, from the accent walls to the beautiful wood accent stations but the salon members are so welcoming. We all started somewhere and Joanna has always been there to help us grow in any way that we dream of growing. From teaching and hosting classes to continuing our education, to helping us understand the business aspect of running our own business behind the chair. Joanna has a beautiful dream of building a strong beauty community not only in our salon spaces but outside of the salon and I'm so happy to be a part of it!”
